Will an alarm ring? The short answer

On iPhone and most Android phones, the built-in Clock app’s alarm rings in Do Not Disturb and silent mode. A phone that is switched off does not ring. The full answer depends on the phone and its settings.

Method and limits

Source: Google Search Console data for wakeboom.app, August 5 to October 10, 2026, as imported by our content system. The data holds 1,691 search phrases and 11,222 impressions in 27 site languages, all from searches that led to Wake Boom’s pages. An impression means a Wake Boom page was shown in Google results for a search. It is not a person and not a click. A search phrase’s language is the language of the Wake Boom page shown, which may differ from the language of the person searching. This is a subset of all Search Console data, because Google leaves out rare searches. English is left out of the headline figure because the English site has no Do Not Disturb guide yet. We do not compare English with the other languages. A search phrase was counted as this question if it matched our keyword list for its language. The lists are published with this page.
